Perhaps explore the bug that hits windows 10 only when Updates are stopped

The bug is that every few days I get a message telling me my windows 10 is not Activated. So I go to Settings and click troubleshoot Activation and it says We have already Activated this copy of windows. The message then goes away. It never happens when windows 10 security updates are enabled. Very strange.
